Pinworm eggs can be found in the infected person's own belongings. In rare cases, pinworm eggs can enter a person's body by breathing in infected air.

Diagnosis of pinworm infections:

  • In some cases, pinworms can be easily seen in an infected person's underwear. The chances of seeing pinworms at night in underwear or in the stool are higher when female worms lay eggs. The pinworm is white and looks like yarn.
