Hemoglobin:
Hemoglobin is an iron-rich metalloprotein found in red blood cells. It helps our body transport oxygen. Hemoglobin transport oxygen from the lungs  to the body cells. Hemoglobin delivers oxygen to every part of the human body. The decrease of hemoglobin in the blood also reduces the supply of oxygen.

Normal hemoglobin levels:
Normal levels of hemoglobin vary according to age and gender. Usually in the case of a newborn baby the amount of hemoglobin is 200 grams in every liter of blood. Later on, from the age of three months, it decreases to about half. Later in life, hemoglobin begins to rise again. For men  the normal level of hemoglobin in every liter of blood is 130 to 180 grams and for women it is 115 to 165 grams in every liter of blood. For men or women If the amount of hemoglobin in the blood is 70 or 80 grams in every liter of blood then it can be called anemia.


Causes of low haemoglobin: 
Excessive bleeding can cause hemoglobin levels to drop and it may be reduced for many more reasons. The following are some of the reasons that may decrease the hemoglobin levels:

Folic acid:

So in order to increasing the amount of hemoglobin It is important for us to eat foods full of folic acid. We should eat green leafy vegetables with daily meals. It contains a lot of folic acid and Increases the amount of hemoglobin in our body. Chicken liver, mutton liver, broccoli, bananas, nuts, sprouts, these supply folic acid to our body.The above mentioned foods increases the amount of hemoglobin in our body when our body falls in lack of hemoglobin.

Iron:
Iron deficiency is one of the main reason for low hemoglobin in our body. Usually iron-containing foods fills the lack of hemoglobin in our body. Fruits like dates, pomegranate, apple, watermelon, amalki etc.  contain a lot of iron. By eating these fruits we can easily increase the amount of hemoglobin in our body. If we eat an apple or a pomegranate every day then the amount of hemoglobin from our body will not decrease. Dry fruits like raisins, almonds, dried dates reserves iron.
